At the S'.priiDie Court, Thomas Stirling, who was yesterday foynd guilty (with strong recommendation to mercy; of theft of nets, was ordered to coma up for sentence when called upon, anil to pay £3 towards the cost of the prosecution. Albert Claxton, found guilty of attempting to break and enter, was admitted to probation for twelve months, and ordered to pay £3 toward* the cost of prosecution. Arthur Hot ivait was found guilty of perjury, tut sentence was deferred. John Burrage, found guilty of indecent assault, received the maximum penau> ,n . Uvu years' imprisonment. The Crown entered, "a stay of proceedings in the secon t charge, that of attempted unnatural offence.
