A TERRIBLE TYPHOON.
DISASTER IN THE •PffILTPTTXES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 12, 10.35 p.m. New York, May 12. Advices from Manila report a heavy typhoon in the Philippines. Many Steamers and lighter craft were wrecked, and much damage is expected. There are no details yet, but 58 were kAled at sea. The typhoon was the most serious experienced for eight years.
