THE INDEMNITY BILL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 11, 5.5 p.m. London, May 11. The Radicals, Nationalists and Unionists in the House of Commons threaten to oppose the Sir Stuart Samuel Indemnity Bill. Lord Hugh Ceeil gave notice that while agreeable to the indemnity, it exaggerated the penalties. Sir Stuart Samuel should pay a moderate penalty. A NATIONAL QUESTION. London, May 9. Mr. Lloyd George, in the House of Commons, appealed to the Opposition to treat the land question as a national, not a partisan, one. He hoped they would co-operate with the Government.
