NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A St. Andrew's Cross Medal Handicap Match will .be played on the Ngaraotu links this afternoon. A general .meeting of the Club will be held next Saturday in the Town Hall for the purpose of offering views with regard to visitors to the links. Copies of the Club's rules are now available, and may be had on application to the secretary. The programme for the season has now been drafted and printed. There were twelve entries for the first round, medal play,- of the Thursday cup competition which was played ori Thursday last. The best cards handed in were: — F. Honac 114 2C 8S ; A. Coxhead 116 26 00 D. K. Morrison .. . 106 16 90 G. 11. Deighton ~. 117 26 91 J. Austin 116 24 92 W. Bewley 101 7 94 The match to be played to-day will be a St. Andrew's Cross competition for players with a handicap of 18 and under, post entry, the winner to reee'ive a button and have name engraved on cross. Players with a handicap at present of 19 and over will receive a prize for the best net aggregate of four cards in the St. Andrew's competition. TARAHUA CLUB. To-day a mixed foursome will he played over 13 holes. The following are the draws and handicaps:—Mrs. Neal and Grey (10) play Miss E. C. Putt and J. G. List (3); Miss Pellew and Kind i (22%) play Miss Somervell and Loftus (10); Miss West and T. C. List (25%) play Miss Hammond and McQuade (2?); Mrs. Cooke and Munro (20) /play Miss Trseby and Carter (14).
