MOKAU LAND SALE.
At Messrs. Abraham and Williams' rooms, Palmerston North, on Wednesday, 23,000 acres of the Mokau-Molm-katino block were submitted for sale by auction. Twelve sections were offered, five of which were sold under the hammer as follows: Section 3, 1091 acres, Mr. J. L. R. Freeman, £3 10s an acre. Section 4, 1123 acres, Mr. J. L. 11. Freeman, £3 10s fid an acre. Section 10, BC3 acres, Mr. J. L. R. Freeman, £4 an acre. Section 18, 2127 acres, Mr. D. White, £3 an acre. Section 5, 271(5 acres, Mr. D. White, £3 7s Od an acre. The following sections were -passed in at the prices stated:—No. 14, £3 ss; No. 21, £3; No. 24, £2 ss; No. 20, £2 10s; So. 25, £2 ss.
