GRAY'S. BANKRUPTCY.

Received 7, 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, May 7. • Gray was examined under the Fraudulent Debtors Act in respect to his means of satisfying Robert's judgment for £2311 against him for breach of contract. Gray, giving evidence, said that he had an agreement with his father whereby he received £3 a week, his father paying for his clothes and travelling expenses, and talking what he earned, at billiards. Gray's father deposed that all the money his son made in England and South' Africa, about £4OOO, was eaten up in expenses. A thousand pounds went in legal expenses in England. He had not got a penny now. i ;
Mr. Justice Hood declined to make an order in the ' case, declaring that even if he did not believe the evndence, it would not justify him in making an order against the defendant.
