Jt farm servant named Winifred Mitchell was- founff Buried in a shallow grave at Wimborne. Some boys saw the .open grave on March 30, and the following day Mitchell disappeared, saying she was going to Canada. No search was made until her false teeth were found in a wood a fortnight later, when % search revealed that the grave had been filled in. Mitchell was fully dressed, and had been shot in the head. William Barton, a.' gamekeeper, a married man, has been detained in connection with the affair.
