NEWSPAPER REPORTERS. Per Press Association. Palmerston North, Friday. Colonel Chaytor, in a statement made to the press, makes clear the position of reporters attending Territorial camps. While they are Territorials, he says, reporters arc subject to military law, which prohibits their corresponding with their newspapers As Territorials they are debarred from acting in a professional capacity at camps of instruction. They can, however, attend any other camp as reporters, where the military authorities will provide them with 'a tent, and the officers will be glad to make reporters honorary members of their messes. The military authorities will be glad to have papers represented in this manner.
