ILLEGAL BETTING. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Magistinte's Court to-day, William Ham was fined £3O and costs on a charge of betting on the Wellington Hotel premises. Deceision in other cases was reserved.
OUR MINERAL OUTPUT. Wellington, Last Night. During the month of April 19,210 ozs. of gold, valued at £73,970, were exported from New Zealand, as compared with 35,519 ozs., valued at £140,552, for the corresponding month last year. For the four months this year the export of gold was 109,788 ozs., valued at £435,958, as against 130,895 ozs. valued at £542,432 for the same period last year. During the same period 358,108 ozs> of silver, valued at £37.355, were exported, compared with 357,310 ozs, valued at £36,321, for the four months last year.
