WAITARA HARBOR ELECTIONS.

THE RESULTS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) 1 Considerable interest was evinced in the Waitara Harbor elections on . Tuesday. There were two rival factions, and each side got in three apiece. Mr. Wm. Birdling, a former member, headed the ppll, ,and he was closely followed (only two Votes separating, them) by the re-, tlting chairman (Mr. W. F. Jenkins):. Then came Mr. Jas. Hine', the stormy petrel of , the old Board, with Mr. Vaughan, the county clerk, close on his heels. Mr. R. T. Hicks, of the old Board, was next on the list, with Mr. A. W. Ogle some distance behind. The unsuccessful candidates were Mr. E. Beckbessinger, J. H. Smith, J. Rattenbury (ft member of the old Board), and H. j, S. Brookmari, in that order. Details of the voting are as follows:
