SCHOOL COMMITTEES
FURTHER RESULTS. Results of school committee elections in country districts still continue to percolate through. INGLEWOOD. The following committee was elected at Inglewood:—A. P. Thomson (chairman), W. Hood, W. Messenger, W. E. Henderson, H. Scott, T. A. Kennedy, Sutherland (secretary), Manby and Taylor.
TIKORANGI. The annual meeting of householders ■was held 011 Monday, and for the first time for many years an election was necessary. In the absence of the chairman of the committee, Mr. J. Hine was voted to the chair. The balance-sheet, showing a credit balance of nearly £4O, was adopted, and the following gentlemen were nominated for the committee:— Messrs Vickerv, Faull, H. A. Foreman, Allen, Wells, C. Foreman, Smart and Corney. The first six were elected, and Messrs Corney and Smart being equal, tlio chairman, in accordance with precedent, gave his casting vote for the Tetiring member, Mr. Smart. The committed met immediately after and appointed Mr. J. 11. Allen as chairman and Mr. Geo. Wills treasurer.

Coupe and J. Gatenby (secretary). KAIMIRO. Messrs W. G. Shoemark (chairman), Fred Schicker, Frank Mundt, John Lilly, James Henderson, Henry Taylor (secretary) and John Williams. '
