TO-DAY'S ELECTION.

We have been informed tliut there is some confusion in the identity of the two gentlemen named Clark seeking election as borough councillors at to-day's poll. In order that there may be no confusion we have been requested to state that Mr. James Clarke is the excouncillor, and Mr. Alfred Clark, of Vogeltown, is the new aspirant for the position. The latter gentleman is a new arrival here, and for many years occupied a high position in the postal service. He has considerable energy ana ability, and it is to be hoped he will be amongst the successful dozen when the result is announced.
