In the action William Wilson v.- Hiknrangi Coal Company, a claim for. loss of the sight of an eye, alleged to hitve been caused through being struck in eye by a piece of coal which flew off >i pick, plaintiff was awarded £134 'la 3d and costs £l2 12s. Douglas Campbell Murton was awarded £l2O Is fid and costs £l2 12s' against the Auckland Harbor Board for loss of a forefinger, due to injuries to his hand, received while employed on hammer and drill work by thfe- BOard/
