STANDARD OIL COMPANY PROSECUTED. New York, April 15. The Texas State Attorney has started a suit against the Standard Oil Trust to recover a hundred million dollars, for alleged violation of the State's antitrust law. Mr. Archbold has been subpoenaed.
JAPANESE IN CALIFORNIA. Tokio, April 15,
Owing to President Wilson refraining from action in California, Japan will present a test case in the Supreme Court to prove that Japanese are not of Mongolian origin and are therefore entitled to citizenship in California.
