THE ASSOCIATION CAME

NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB.

The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Association Football Club was held on Monday night. The balancesheet showed a deficiency of 3s. The subscription for the ensuing year was fixed at 7s (id. and it was decided to use the Tukapa ground for club play. Officers were elected as follows: President. Dr. K. A. Walker; vice-presidents, Drs ]C. F. Fookes, D. Blacktey and D. Suttie, Messrs W. 11. Fietcher, S. Paul, J. Hayden, J. Sweet, C. W. WaHock, W. Lints and J. Hoskin; managen-ent committee, Messrs E. A. Elliott, R 3. Reid, ,T. R. Sullivan, W. Shepherd. W. Hedley (hon. treasurer), B. C.willim (lion, secretary) and 0. K. Roper (club captain) ; lion, auditors, Messrs R. B. Reid and IT, Hayden; delegates to the Taranaki Football Association, Messrs E. A. Elliott and G. E. Roper. It was decided to instruct the club's delegates to the annual meeting of the Taranaki Football Association, to be held at Eltham on Thursday, to apply, en behalf of the New Plymouth Association Football Club, for affiliation to the Association. They were also instructed to urge that the Junior' Cup be available for competition by all the school teams J in Taranaki, and 'that a nominal fee be. I asked for the affiliation of the school teams.

It was decided to write to Captain lfalsey, inviting the crew of the New Zealand to play a match with the club on the occasion of their visit to New Plvmouth on June 17.

The following teams will represent Star juniors in a match against Clifton at Waitara to-morrow: —D. Johnston, A. Clark, S. James, W. Gunson, Carlson, Ilardgraves, Fuller, S. Lovell, L. James, fOleeson, flush, Mack, McOahev, Stockman, Healey, McKoy, Hook. The players will leave by the 12.50 train, and [the match will begin at 2.30.
