1 A LICENSING CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Tuesday. Leslie Steele, licensee of the West Shore Hotel, has been fined £5 and costs for serving a native with liquor for:, consumption off the premises. The Magistrate further ordered the license to be endorsed, defendant having personally committed the offence. PRICES OF GROCERIES RAISED. Dunedin, Tuesday. The master grocers of Dunedin have raised the retail prices of a number of their goods. This is due to higher freights and the increased wages paid to 1 grocers' assistants under the new ArbiI tration Court award. ■■■ i
