Osborne, explaining the Trade Union Act, states that it is not intended to reverse the Osborne .Judgment, but to prevent the creation of a corrupt and tyrannical caucus similar to the Trades Hall in Australia, by which trade unionists are compulsorily pledged to support any candidate dumped in the constituency. HUGE STRIKE THREATENED. Received 13, 5.5 p.m. Brussels, April 12. There are many preparations for the strike oil Monday. The Socialists reckon that 400,000 will strike. Their leaders dissa prove. The railwaymen's attitude is'doubtful. MILK STRIKE AVERTED. Received 13, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, April 12. It is believed that the threatened trouble in the milk distributing business has been averted, as the result of a conference of the employers and employees.
