RIVAL UNIONS. Received 11. 9.55 p.m. Sydney, April 11. In the Arbitration Court Mr. Justice Hcydon, in refusing an application to vary an award, severely criticised the attitude of unions to one another. The application showed how far they would go to get hoards constituted to suit themselves, without regard to anyone else. Specialising in a certain case, he said that if a hoard were constituted which suited' the applicants it was "What a fair court! What a just judge!" but if it did not suit, then it was "What an injustice! what an outrage! Wo have been refused a tribunal to redress our : grievances. We will strike." •■Such."' continued the judge, "is love, and such is tile mercy rival unions show each other."
