The Governor, Lord Liverpool, attended by General Godley, this aftetnoon reviewed the troops of the Auckland brigade now encamped on the Cambridge Show grounds. The troops on parade numbered about 2000, comprising Engineers, Field Ambulance, the Sri Auckland Regiment, the 6th Hauraki

Regiment, the 15th North Auckland Regiment, and the 10th Waikato Regiment. They were headed by BrigadierColonel C. T. Major -and Gaptain Mtlville (Brigade Major). Other officers present included Colonel Logan (Commanding the Auckland district) and Colonel Herd (Director of Military Training). The camp, which started last week, is the largest yet held in the Dominion, and will conclude on Saturday. The proceedings to-day were witnessed by a crowd of 5000, and it was astonishing to observe the proficiency already attained by .the-traps since training commenced. The march past was carried out most meritoriously, and the Governor, on the conclusion, ""complimented the regimental officers on the successful results of t'-eir efforts His Excellency subsequently left' for Wellington. The conduct of the troops whilst in camp has been exemplary, and i with perfect weather prevailing throughout all have enjoyed the outdoor life, even if the work has been arduous.
