UTILITY POULTRY CLUB.

| EGG-LAYING RECORDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Sight. To-day completed twelve months' laying of the four leading pens in the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-lay-ing competition. The four teams are being retained by the club, and also the leading pen of Silver Wyandottes and Black Orpingtons, for educational purposes. The leaders, W. A. Nixon's White Leghorns, have established a new World's record, laying 1032 eggs. Green's White Leghorns start off on the second year with 1508, Heretaunga 1494, H. Leger 1478, L. Kennedy's Silver Wyandottes 1280, and R. Hunger's Black Orpingtons 1192. The four leading pens of ducla are also to be kept for educational purposes.
