The bal-ance-sheet, which shows a small credit 1 balance, must be considered very satis- ' factory. The Club, as in previous years, contributed half of the cost of players' insurance against accident, With the addition of several new members, the Club's prospects for the coming season look particularly bright. Owing, however, to the possibility of there being only three teams in the Saturday Competition, members will have to seriously consider the advisability of reverting to the former Saturday Association, instead of playing under the control of the Rugby Union. Your committee has to congratulate players on their eonduct lioth on rnd off the field. Mr. J. Hore's gold medal for the player showing the most improvement during the season has been awarded to Mr. F.. Brown. Your committee has to record its appreciation of the efforts of the retiring secretary, Mr. T. Ellis, whose p'aee wi'l be difficult to fill.
