AUSTRALASIAN TOUBXAMEXT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gore, Last Xiglit. The Australasian draughts championship was concluded late this afternoon. The first game resulted in a win for Gardiner (Gore), and the second was drawn by Gardiner, who wins the title of champion, a silver cup to he held for one year, presented by the Wellington Working Men's Club, and a cash prize of £2l. Hilliker won the second prize, £l3, and Calderwood the third, £B.
