As a true sport, Mr. T. Allison, ""Who acted as one of the judges, forwanded -a cheqne fox the amount to the club,' but the committee felt they could not accept it under the circumstances, being 'of the opinion that the Regatta Committee should pay out, and the cheque was returned. * Mr. Allison was not to be denied, liowever, and sent along /our splendid specimens of silver crips. The committee met on Tuesday evening and decided that the cups should be engraved and presented to the winners at a euchre party to be held on April 17. A silver medal will be presented to the coxwain bv the club.
