THE THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES.

Nat Pinker ton \vi!l solve the "Mystery of the 7 o'clock Express" fur the last occasion at the Theatre Royal tonight. Picture patrons who have not viewed this film should not miss this opportunity of so doing. To-morrow night there will be a complete change when the star item will be an absorbingly interesting colored star dranw, "Red Fox, the Poacher" or "A Man of the Wild," said to be enacted amongst some of the most magnificent scenery ever introduced into a motion picture. EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. A remarkable picture will be shown on the new programme commencing at the Empire this evening, entitled "From the Bottom of the Sea." The effect of this picture can be gauged when it is slated that the United States Government specially subsidised the producers. The plot deals with the treacherous sinking of a United States submarine boat. The boat is depicted at the bottom of the ocean, and the crew are slowly being smothered 'l)v the foul air, when it young officer volunteers to allow himself to be shot through the torpedo tube, roaches the surface and sends succor to the suffering crew. There is a love story artistically interwoven to add to the ' heart interest of the film. Amongst the many realistic incidents, the onlooker sees the submarine sink, rise, the rescue of the crew, and sink a<*ain. All the details of the rescue are reproduced just as if one wns on the boat. The supporting pictures are all first-class subjects.
