ANN'UAL MEETINGS. Various clubs in South Taranaki held their annual meetings on Saturday night, and all report good prospects for the ' poming season. A brief account of each is appended:— ' ' lIAWERA. | Mr. P. O'Dea presided over a large at- < tendance. The balance-sheet showed a ' credit of £52 7s 2d as against £22 8s 2d last year. The second annual meeting of the Okaiawa Association Football Club was held on Friday night, when there was a verv good attendance. Office-bearers were elected, and the usual routine business was gone through. As the Association game has become very nopular latelv. the local residents can look forward to seeing some <rood play in the coming winter os the local team has seeured the services nf one or two "old hands." a"d is confident of mnkinj a good run for the cud. —ITawera Star.
