THE ORINGI CAMP.
STANDING ORDERS. Colonel R. W. Tate, commanding the Wellington Infantry Brigade, has issued orders with reference to the annual camp of the brigade, which will take place at Oringi from April 14 to 2(j next. The orders include:—
Daily routine. —The following hours will be observed: Reveille G a.m., early morning coll'ee (i.15 a.m., breakfast 7.00 a.m., sick S a.m., company orderly room 8 a.m., battalion orderly room 5.15 a.m., admissions to hospital 8.30 a.m., parade 8.45 a.m. till 4.30 p.m., dinner 3 p.m., retreat 5.30 p.m., first post U.lo p.m., tattoo 9.30 p.m., lights out 9.15 p.m.
Plain clothes.—Plain clothes will not be allowed in camp, with the exception that men who have not been issued with military great coats may bring their civilian ones. Rands. —The senior bandmaster will arrange for the massed bands to play daily at 0.15 p.m., weather permitting . . . . The massed buglers of the brigade will sound Reveille, Retreat, First Post, Tattoo and Lights Out. Canteen. —There will be a brigade canteen.
Leave. —No officer, non-commissioned officer or man will sleep out of camp without leave from the Brigadier.
Non-commissioned officers and men leaving camp between the hours of 4.30 p.m. hnd 9.30 p.m. are to be provided with passes- furnished regimentally. Postal. —A brigade post office will be established in camp. ... Military' police.—Each battalion will detail-oiie non-commissioned officer and three men as military police. : One man will alwtivs be on duly per' unity fr6m Reveille to Retreat.
Public-houses. —The (I.O:C. has issued a general order directing that officer?;, non-commissioned officers and men in uniform-going to and from camp shall not enter public drinking bars. Liquor.—No officer, non-ctmvmissioned officer-or man is to bring alcoholic liquor into c-amp under any circumstances whatever.
