THE MISSING MAN. ALL HOPE ABANDONED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Tainape, Last Night. The search party which set out from Qhakune last night, to look for Mr, Bing-' bam, journeyed a. mile up stream and gamped till daylight. The members of the party were expected back about noon to-day, hut at seven o'clock no word had been received from them. Messrs. Waters and S. Hubert are not much the worse for tiieir experiences, and left for Auckland last night. Miss C'oates is improving, and is well on the road to recovery; but it will be some time before she" will be abla to about again, owing to the injuries to her feet and legs, which are very badly swollen. All hope of finding Mr. Bingham alive has been abandoned. One search party returned from the inountain this evening, but they report that they found no trace of the' missing man. A party which is searching along the stream where 'Miss Coates says she last saw Mr. Bingham has not yet returned.
