Brownlcej (llaveloek); central executive, Messrs. ] R. Oaldons, .T. 11. ITutton, F. Keenan.'J. j A. Borcham. D. A. Brodie, J. Ahernethy and F. K. Hilliker (Dunedin); consultative delegates, Messrs. McKay (Auckland), Jas. Gardiner (Southland), W. ] King (Canterbury). A. McDonald .(West- \ port), C. D. Chant (New Plymouth), J. Gibson (Marton), and W. J. Smith (Wel- ] lington). The championship tourney for I 1014 was offered to Auckland, and it is I anticipated that it will be held there ] during the Exhibition. Westport and ! Nelson offered to accept the 1915 tour : noy in the South Island. The percentage system was discussed, and'a motion was carried recommending that in holding the next tournament the four top players should play off on the one-life-knock-ont system. ' At last night's session. Hilliker beat 'C'alderwond, one win and one draw, and he is now the sole survivor in the winner ! class. Calderwood goes into the losers. Gardiner and Brodie, equal, losers' class, J one win each and two draws. Morris, a j bye.
THE NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT,
The draughts tournament was completed last night, with the result that .T. Bruce scored a meritorious win with 20 points, D. Oi'bson being runner-up with 18 points.
