KILLED "IX SELF-DEFENCE. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Received 21, 1.10 a.m. Sydney, .March 20. The two youths Bowernian and White have teen discharged. The police have detained two other youths, of whom one is reported to have made a statement that he fired at the Chinaman in selfdefence. A Sydney cable dated March 17 says: Chong Soon, a Chinese, was found dead near Parranmtta, with a long-handled prong lying bv his side and a bullet wound in his breast. Richard Arthur Bowerman and .lohn Maitland White have been charged on susuicion with shooting the Chinaman, and remanded.
