A DANGEROUS BUSS FIRE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney. March 19. Patients at the Coast Hospital had an unpleasant experience. A bush fire" many acres in extent surrounded and threatened the destruction of the hospital. The patients were terror-stricken, many becoming delirious. The whole stall' was in readiness to remove the sufferers, but luckily .a change in the wind and the arrival of fire brigades averted the danger. A THEATRE PURCHASED. Sydney, March 10. John "Wren, of Melbourne, has purchased the Criterion Theatre for £iio.000. SERIOUS FIRES. Sydney. March 1!). The Lismore fire destroyed five shops, the damage being £SOOO. A five at Coouamble destroyed seven shops.
