MANSLAUGHTER CASE
A MILD SENTENCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 10. 0.00 p.m. Sydney, March 10. William .lames was sentenced to nine of deficiency of intellect, lie was senslaughter of Ralph Chambers.
A Sydnev cablegram, dated February 0, says:—William .Tames was committed for trial for shooting and murdering Ralph Albert Chambers. The evidence showed that there was a row in a, navvies' camp at Manilan. Deceased was shot while letting a vehicle through the fence, -lames was heard to say he would shoot the first man coining near.
