It is reported in London that the King may shortly confer dukedoms on Prince Arthur of Connaught, cousin to his Majestv, and on Prince Alexander of Teck, brother of Queen Mary. These two popular princes would/then take their seats in the House of Lords as peers of the realm. There are many titles associated in times past with cadet branches of the Royal Family. Among these titles, which are now in abeyance, may be mentioned the dukedom of Kent. Sussex and Cambridge. The careers of the two small princes are in many respects similar.
