A FATAL BRAWL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, March 15. Reginald Buttel was remanded on a charge of murdering Snowy Fulton, who died as the result of a street brawl at Broken Hill. THE CURSE OF DRINK. Melbourne, March 15. The dead bodies of Walter Edgar Erfl'uit. a laborer, and his wife wore found in a house at Fitzroy. It is believed that Erffuit returned home intoxicated and shot his wife, infant and himself. The infant is alive. THE HATTON TRAGEDY. Sydney, March 15. The charge against ITatton, who shot Lila Coghlan and himself in a liar, has been reduced to maliciously shooting with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Accused has been committed for trial. He said that the girl snatched the revolver and it went off accidentally. Coghlan gave the same version. THE FEDERAL CAPITAL. Melbourne, March 15. Lord Denman has received a cable from the King: "I. am glad to learn that the foundation stone of the Federal City contemplated in the constitution, with the inauguration of which I was so intimately associated, has been successfully laid."
