EASTER TOURNAMENT. Next Saturday will see the opening of the Taranaki championship meeting and handicap meeting, which will be held on the new Waiwakaiho links under the auspices of the New Plymouth Golf Club. On that day, commencing at nine o'clock in the morning, competitors will engage in the Taranaki amateur champion and teams match, combined with a medal handicap. The cond'tion- are: Qualifying round of 3)1 holes, medal play, 10 to qualify, and match play thereafter. Any club may enter one or more teams, each of which will comprise four players. Valuable trophies are offered. The second round of the Taranaki amateur championship will be played on Monday morning.
