Improved farm settlement leases were granted as follows: section'l7. block 11. Mapara : -I. C. Donnellv, section 13, block 11. Mapara; E. Rrake, section !). block 11. Mapara. RANGER'S REPORT. Ranger .Meredith reported having inspected 14 holdings in the Mapara. settlement. comprising ail area of 23(18 acres. The improvements required were £7OO, while those effected amounted to €UBII. There were no defaulters. EXPENDITURE OF THIRDS. Proposals for the expenditure of thirds were approved as follows, providing the expenditure was shown to be in accordance with the Act: —Okato Road Hoard, €ls 0s !Jd; Egmont County Council, €34 13s id. GENERAL. A. W. and 11. Kemp were granted a lease of section 15, block 13, U aro, three acres odd. for a term of 21 years, at an annual rental of 10s. Harnett was granted a temporary lease of parts of sections 8 and 14. Aria Suburban, at the ranger's valuation. The application of li. Roth, holder of section 5, block 15, Ulmra, for an additional area of three acres, in to improve the fence line, was deferred, pending the ranger's report. A. (_'.
