Received 12, fi.r>fl p.m. New York. March 12. At Akron. Ohio, striking rubber workers attempted to storm the police station and liberate a number of strikers. The police defended themselves. Fierce fusillades followed, and the strikers retired with several wounded. .Many arrests have been made.
