The northern branch of the Wangamii Teachers' Institute has inaugurated a benefit fund on behalf of the widow and family of the late Mr. Vereker Bindon, who died recently while in charge of the Miinaia school, and had formerly been inspector of schools under the Wanganui Education Board.
