"OUR MISS GIBBS." Of "Our Miss Gibbs" and/of the com- . pany by which it will be interpreted at the Theatre Royal on Thursday evening next, a contemporary saysj "The theatre, spacious as it is, proved utterly 7 inadequate to accommodate all who turned up last night to witness the produce tion of the popular musical comedy, 'Our Miss Gibbs,' by the Merry Widow Opera Company. The audience was enthusiastic to a degree, and : the management of 'Miss Gibbs' may be congratulated on < the signal success achieved, for the comedy was one of the finest ever produced in the town." The booking of seats is going along merrily at Collier's and a record house woukr appear assured. \ The Irish ;National Concert this year is to be an' even better function than previous years, and already a good deal of interest is being shown.i In addition to local and outside talent, Miss Ethel Rae, a noted Auckland soprano, is to give several items.
