LONDON MARKETS. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Received 5, 11.15 p.m. London, March 5. Wheat.—The American visible supply is 114,843,000 bushels. At the wool sales there was an excellent selection of crossbreds, and a fair one of merinoes. There was a large attendance and keen competition, all sections operating. Compared with the January sales closing rates for merinos were par to five per cent, higher, best crossbreds unchanged, others five to 7 I / 3 per cent, advance. This was most marked in coarser grades. Copper.—£oo to £OO 2s Od: electrolytic, £69. Tin.—£2l7 10s to £213.
