The Reichstag debated Lever Bros.' Liberian agreement. The Government announces that it liad protested against the concession as contrary to the German Liberial commercial agreement. Liberia replied that the Legislature had not given the necessary sanction. If the contingency arose, German's treaty rights would be protected. A DISASTROUS COLLISION. Berlin, March 5. The cruiser York l-ammed and sank torpedoer No. 2178, two miles south of Heligoland. Fifty were drowned, and only 15 saved. EIRE ON THE TURAKINA. Received 6, 12.55 a.m. Rio de Janeiro, March 5. Tke Council has decided that three years 'military service in all classes shall be absolutely necessary. All exemption? will be abolished.
