A dance followed in the evening, the hall being packed tojts utmost:capacity, although Witnatic conditions were against danchur. AH seemed to thoroughly enjoy the evening, however. ■ The music was supplied by Miss Rattenbury, of Tongaporutu, And Miss K, Murray. Songs were also tendered during the evening, which were much appreciated by the company.
