AUSTRALIA'S STATUS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 26. 10.50 p.m. London, February 26. The Australian correspondent of* the Morning Post holds that the Admiralty is responsible for the misconceptions with regard to the Australian navy. It is known that the Admiralty prepared a proclamation defining the status in 1011, but the publication was withheld. The Australian correspondent points out that a White Paper of the 1011 conference strictly limits the navy's spheres, excluding the Pacific.
