THE TRADE COMMISSION.
ARRIVAL IN DUNEDIN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The following members of the Kmpire Trade Commission arrived by special train from Jnvercargill at 10.4;"> p.m. They consist of Sir E. Vincent, Sir It. Rider Haggard. Sir A. Bateinan, and Messrs. N. Lorimer, T. fiarnett. J. Nation (representing the Mother Country) and D. Campbell (Australia). The Hon. Mr. Bowring (Newfoundland) has just arrived in Perth, and will probably join the commission in about ten days. The Hon. 0. Foster (Canada) is coming direct from Vancouver, and will join the commission in the North Island. Sir K. Solomon (South Africa) will not attend the sittings in New Zealand. Messrs. 11. M. 'Gore and ,T. B. Gray will act as official reporters in New Zealand. On arrival at the Bluff the commissioners received a wireless message from the. Hon. H. D. Bell, Minister of Internal Affairs, and also a telegraphic message from the Prime Minister. To-mor-row the commission will open its sittings at 10.30. and will take the evidence of members of the Chamber of Commerce. The commissioners were welcomed here by the Hon. •!'. R. Sinclair. New Zealand's representative on the commission. They expect to conclude the Dunedin sittings on Friday.
