At the Supremo Court to-day the case, of Frederick John Northcott versus Henry Hughes, Limited. ;i claim for fooO damages through alleged negligence in making an application for patent rights on a milk-can, was concluded. A special jury found for the defendants on all issues, ami judgment was entered for the defendants with costs on the highest scale. The Court "ranted a change of venue to Auckland in the case of C. A. Edgarton (manufacturing company) v. Macky, Logan and Company, arising out of an alleged infringement of a trademark.
