EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. A unique feature of the new arrangement of films at the Empire this evening is a Western romance by the JSolax Company, entitled, "Outwitted by Horse and Lariat." The leading actor "is a remarkably well-trained horse that shows an almost human ';.tel'igeiice in the part he plays. Other dramatic stories 'include "More / Precious than Gold" (Edison), "A Woman of Arizona" (S. and A.), and a Kalem domestic drama. "The Village Vixen." Interest pictures are supplied with the "Gaumont Graphic," "A •Voyage in Turkey," "Cossacks of the Ural Country," and there is a humorous selection of the latest comedies. THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. "The Dandies Club" and the sunerb supporting programme again interested and delighted a good audience at the Theatre Royal. To-night is the last occasion that this series will be on view, and picture patron? should not miss the chance offered. To-morrow night the management will introduce another great masterpiece, featuring the renowned Asta Xielson, entitled' '-'Falsely Accused."
"GET RICH QUICK WALLINGFORD." At Collier's to-morrow morning the box plans will be opened at 8 o'clock for tlio first and only representation to be singed at the Theatre Royal by .1. C. Williamson's Comedy Company on Saturday night next of the brilliantly clever and latest eomedy success, "Get Rich' Quick Wallingford." The numerous enquiries which have already been made in reference to the booking arrangements indicates a large demand for seats, so to obviate any crushing as far as possible, the management will have a staff of ushers in attendance from ail early hour to form a queue, which will ensure that' the earliest shall have first choice of seats. Mr. Fred Niblo and Mr. Harry, Corson Clarke created quite a sensation, in Wellington and Christclmrch by the brilliance and rapidity of their acting, and they had the audience fairly convulsed with laughter from the moment they appeared on the stage. Unlike most farcical comedies, "'Get Rich Quick: Wallingford" can boast an intensely in-' teresting plot which retains its hold on the audience right up to the final fall of the curtain.
