BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH. SPECIAL TRAMWAY LOAN OF £55,000. 'HE Council of the Borough of Now Plymouth HEREBY GIVES PUBLIC NOTICE that it proposes to borrow. IJy "»rt of special£55,000. (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required i> the construction of a tramway on the overhead trolley electric tramway system from the Waiwakailio Bridge, Fitzroy, to the mot of the Breakwater, via Devon, Egmont and St. Aubyn streets, with a branch along Devon street, from Egmont street to Morley street. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £55.000, at a rate not exceeding 5 per cent., witli a Sinking Fv.r.d of ',■> per cent, additional. (c) The proposed security is a Mortgage of the undertaking and a special rate of 10.1 in ;he £ on the rateable value (ou the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property within the Borough; and it is proposal to repay the money in 20 years from the Ist day of April, 1013. by mean? of the sinking fund and otherwise.
