STREETS IMPROVEMENT AND WATERWORKS EXTENSION SPECIAL LOAN OF £42,000. fTHE Council of the Borough of New Plymouth hereby gives public notice that it proposes to borrow, by way of JBpecial loan, the sum of £42,000. The particular purposes for which the loan is required are: — (a) £II,BOO to provide additions to, extensions and improvements to water-works (within or without the Borough) to acquire nection therewith J;infli»iAw inents, rights and appurtenanac and machinery: and, for any other purposes incidental or in relation thereto respectively. (1)} £30,200 to form and improve generally the streets and footways, to purchase necessary machinery and plant, and construct new bridges and approaches thereto. (c) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purposes is £42,000, at a rate not exceeding 5 per cent. with a sinking fund of \' 2 p?r cent, additional.
