Mr. Asquith suggested that a Royal Commission sliouild enquire into the organisation of the India Office, the use of Indian hank balances, and the maintenance of a standard currency ; also how far the Government was dealing fairly between the United Kingdom and India with regard to the employment of surplus revenue.
