A collision has occurred between the military police and the Naga tribesmen, on the North-Eastern Frontier. The police were enquiring into the massacre of three'men, when the Nazas assailed them in dense bu<h. Nine coolie transporters werp killed and 27 wounded. The police repelled the natives, losing four sepoys killed and five wounded.
