A PASSIVE RESISTER. (Per Press Association). Invercargill, Tuesday. A youth named L. Padget was arr'estd by (he police to-day and handed over o the military authorities for detenion. Padget had not paid his fine for efnsing to comply with the provisions f the Defence Act, and will now have o put in twenty-eight days drill. He 'ill be allowed time off for his ordinary mploymcnt and put in back drills at a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.
